WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT: 

The Technical Part:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Control Systems, or related Engineering field.
  • 5+ years of experience in instrumentation and controls within pharmaceutical or regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and automation systems.
  • Experience with GMP environments and validation processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

You are comfortable coordinating across automation vendors, engineering teams, CQV, and operations to ensure seamless integration of control systems throughout all project phases. You thrive in structured environments where compliance, data integrity, and precision are essential, and you take pride in ensuring systems—from PLCs to SCADA and DCS—are properly designed, installed, and fully validated. You are proactive in identifying technical and integration risks, supporting FATs/SATs, and driving issues to resolution before they impact project timelines.You enjoy being hands-on during commissioning and qualification, ensuring systems are fully compliant and ready for turnover to equipment owners and CQV teams. AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

  • Lead I&C scope throughout project phases, including design, procurement, installation, and commissioning.
  • Review and approve instrumentation and control system designs, including P&IDs, control narratives, and automation architecture.
  • Act as the primary liaison between automation vendors, engineering teams, and project stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper installation, calibration, and integration of instrumentation and control systems.
  • Support CQV activities, including FATs, SATs, commissioning protocols, and qualification documentation.
  • Coordinate system turnover to Equipment Owners and CQV teams, ensuring documentation completeness and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation and control systems during project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with data integrity, 21 CFR Part 11, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
