The Technical Part:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering & two (2) years of relevant experience within the Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical industry.
- Bilingual (Spanish & English).
- Shift: Administrative and according to business needs.
- Flex to support non-standard (2nd and 3rd shifts when needed).
- Experience in:
- General packaging/engineering in final product manufacturing.
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Common materials primary and secondary packaging (bottles, labels, trays, lidding material, leaflets, paperboard, sterile barrier packaging, corrugate, etc.).
- Writing test protocols, performing technical evaluations and testing to support reports.
- Distribution testing per ASTM D4169 and ASTM, ISO, TAPPI, USP and EP testing standards.

- Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
- Under general supervision will evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, basic principles and procedures.
- Function as a technical expert to process, equipment and/or systems during troubleshooting operations and multi-functional discussions.
- Frequently become actively involved in daily operations when required to meet schedules or to resolve sophisticated problems.
- Routinely supervise manufacturing processes for performance indicators and operations. Suggest problem resolution and provide troubleshooting.
- Work with manufacturing, maintenance, process development, utilities, facilities, quality assurance and/or validation departments.
recommendations for process and/or system modifications. - Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and utilize data-driven methodologies to optimize processes, improve efficiency.
- Support equipment / system reliability, GLAM, Spare parts program and engineering continuous improvements initiatives.
- Support cost-saving initiatives, assessing ROI for process and equipment improvements.
- Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
- Under general supervision, will evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, basic principles, and procedures.
- Function as a technical expert in processing equipment and/or systems during troubleshooting operations and multi-functional discussions.
- Routinely audit the operational performance and regulatory compliance of a moderate number of equipment items or systems of significant complexity.
- Work with research, manufacturing, maintenance, process development, utilities, facilities, quality assurance, and/or validation departments.
- Work under the direct supervision of project managers to complete design, engineering, and construction projects within schedule and budget constraints.
- Work with consultants, architects, and engineering firms on the development of standard design documents.
- Generate rudimentary project cost estimates and schedules.
- Obtain and critique quotes for equipment modifications or installations.
