The Technical Part:
- Associate Degree with two (2) years of experience in industrial mechanics within the pharmaceutical or regulated industry.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish).
- Project Management skills.
- Shift: 12 hrs rotational shift and according to business needs.
- 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM
- 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Experience in:
- Execution of calibration PM, repair activities and troubleshooting equipment and system.
- Calibrations will be performed UV, Temperature, Pressure, Weight, Conductivity, pH.
- Manufacturing and utilities process design.

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)
- Perform basic calibrations of instruments on process and utility equipment.
- Assist the team with maintaining an up-to-date working spare parts inventory system for the equipment/ systems the team is responsible for.
- Ensure that calibration paperwork, instrument files and work order documentation is completed with accurate information.
- Participate in a detailed training program in order to develop one's knowledge in the instrumentation field and other areas of the plant.
- Assist in the development, revision, and updating of related SOPs for work related areas.
- Configure and repair microprocessor-based instruments and controllers.
- Basic troubleshooting and repair of process control and laboratory instruments.
- All work must be completed in accordance with CFRs, cGMPs, SOPs.
- Perform regular certification of equipment to verify conformance to industry standards and Amgen procedures.
- Maintain an up-to-date cGMP training book. Plan and schedule own work activities with operations staff to minimize impact to production activities.
