Automation Engineer

For Automation services in the Manufacturing and Engineering area.

WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT: 

The Technical Part:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Chemical, Computer, Mechanical, Industrial) and at least three (3) years of experience in Automation and Validation activities within the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industry.
• Bilingual: Spanish and English (verbal/ written)
• Shift: Administrative, and according to business needs.
• Experience in:
  • MES–automation design, implement, validate and integrations projects in GMP environment.
  • Rockwell, Siemens, PI systems, and Kepware.
  • Validation Protocols. 
  • Automation Control System interfaces configurations.

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

• Integration design strategy including the communication with manufacturer and stakeholders.
• Interface Design Specification Documents and/or ISA 95 Architecture Documents
• Configured MES and Automation communication protocol interfaces for EBR, OEE process monitoring, historian and other data analytics solutions.
• Validation package (URS, TMX, DSP, IQ/OQ/PQ)
• SOPs and training materials when applicable.
• Work with HMI’s, SCADA’s, PLC’s (PLC5, SLC500, ControlLogix), Siemens.
• OPC UA/DA, Modbus TCP, REST APIs; experience with interface servers (e.g., Kepware) and vendor MES connectors.
• Kepware, OSI PI Data Archive, PI Vision, Event Frames; data contextualization for batch/lot and analytics and OEE monitoring.
• PLC/DCS tags configuration, MES- Automation Control System interfaces configurations, gateway setup (OPC), historian/event framework templates.
