Manufacturing Engineer

 For Manufacturing Engineering services in the Base Business area.

The Technical Part:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and at least 1 - 3 years of previous exposure to Manufacturing activities within the Pharmaceutical or Medical Devices industry. 
• Bilingual, Spanish and English (good communication)
• Shift: Administrative & according to business needs 
• Experience in:
  • Working in GMP and GDP regulated manufacturing.
  • Lean Six Sigma Certified 
  • 2D and 3D Drawing Interpretation

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

• Developing, configuring, and optimizing manufacturing processes in order to improve production rates, efficiency, and quality of output while reducing cost and improving sustainability.
• Assess process performance through data collection and metrics trending interpretation.
• Create / Revise process documentation and operating instructions (SOPs). 
• Perform Non-conformance / CAPAs / Complaints Investigations. 
• Ensure timely and efficient completion of assigned projects.
• Experience understanding pneumatic/electrical drawings.
• Analytical and problem solving: must be able to identify solutions to problems within the scope of responsibility and implement corrective action.
• Able to effectively work, communicate (written and oral), and collaborate with peers and other business areas.
• Computer knowledge of various applications- including Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, Outlook), MS Project, Adobe Acrobat, Minitab Statistical software, and AutoCAD.
• Effective Prioritization, Planning, and Time Management: Must be able to organize and plan workload on several projects concurrently to meet deadlines.
