The Technical Part:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and three (3) years of exposure within the Medical Devices Industry.
• Bilingual: Spanish and English
• Shift: Administrative and according to business needs.
• Soft Skills: Excellent Communication skills
• Shift: Administrative and according to business needs. 
• Experience in: 
  • GD&T and component qualification. 
  • Incoming inspection pla, Measurement analysis, and IQ, OQ, PQ.
  • Statistical skills and Negotiation skills.
  • Measurement qualification method.

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

• Ensures that suppliers deliver quality parts, materials, and services.
• Evaluate and create an  Incoming Inspection Plan according with Medtronic policies and specifications.
• Qualifies suppliers according to company standards and may administer a Certified Supplier Program in receiving inspection to ensure cost effectiveness.
• Monitors parts from acquisition through the manufacturing cycle and communicates and resolves supplier-related problems as they occur. 
• An individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty.
• Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. 
• Responsible for projects associated with component acceptance activities and the inspections process.
• Implement and work with inspection plans
• Review the measurement qualification method.
• Negotiation with suppliers to implement the correct acceptance activities and inspection processes.
• Supplier qualification.
