The Technical Part:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred Mechanical or Electrical) & two (2) years of relevant experience within the Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical industry.
  • Bilingual (Spanish & English).
  • Skills: Proactive and task oriented.
  • Shift: 1st and according to business needs. 
  • Experience in:
    • PLC (Siemens & Allen Bradley), Vision Systems (Cognex), Robotics to assist in systems integration. 
    • 3D CAD Design software (SolidWorks & AutoCAD). 
    • Development of the SCADA and HMI applications.

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)
  • Develops and applies computer-aided design (CAD) software engineering methods, theories, and research techniques in the investigation.
  • Assessing architecture and hardware limitations, plan technical projects in the design and development of CAD software.
  • Defines and selects new approaches and implementation of CAD software engineering applications, design specifications, and parameters.
  • Develops routines and utility programs.
  • Prepares design specifications, analysis, and recommendations for presentation and approval.
  • May specify materials, equipment, and supplies required for completion of projects and may evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products.
  • Motivated and detail-oriented Design Automation Engineer to support the design, development, and implementation of small-scale. 
  • Design and programming of PLCs, assisting in the integration of vision systems, and supporting robotic automation projects to improve manufacturing.
  • Assist in creating CAD models, wiring schematics, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Strong foundation in automation technologies and a willingness to learn and grow while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
