EHS Lead
For Health and Safety services
WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT:
The Technical Part:
- Bachelor’s Degree and or an equivalent of ten (10) years plus of EHS experience within the regulated industry.
- Bilingual (Spanish and English).
- Good organizational and problem solving skills.
- Shift: First (Monday-Friday) & according to business needs.
- 30hrs. OSHA Certification (General Industry or Construction)
- Experience in:
- Experience in biopharmaceutical or FDA-regulated manufacturing environments
- Leading and managing all Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives across the Juncos manufacturing facility
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive EHS programs ensuring full regulatory compliance
- Overseeing EHS compliance with FDA, EPA, OSHA, and local regulatory requirements
- Drive continuous improvement in safety performance and environmental initiatives

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)
- Conduct daily facility safety walks and inspect manufacturing areas to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Review and approve EHS documentation including permits, safety procedures, incident reports, and regulatory submissions.
- Lead daily safety briefings with operations teams and coordinate with production supervisors on EHS priorities.
- Manage EHS team activities by assigning tasks, reviewing work progress, and providing technical guidance to direct reports.
- Interface with management through participation in daily operations meetings and providing EHS input on operational decisions.
- Monitor regulatory compliance by tracking permit conditions, conducting internal audits, and ensuring adherence to environmental limits.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses by leading root cause analysis sessions and developing corrective action plans.
- Coordinate with external agencies for inspections, permit renewals, and regulatory communications.
- Analyze EHS performance data and prepare daily/weekly reports on safety metrics, environmental monitoring results, and compliance status.
- Support operational troubleshooting by providing EHS expertise during equipment issues, process changes, or emergency response situations.
