The Technical Part:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and five (5) years of exposure in the Maintenance field within the Pharmaceutical industry.  
  • Experience in:
    • Equipment reliability within a parenteral manufacturing facility
    • Project Management
    • Predictive Technologies
    • Root Cause Failure Analysis and Failure Mode & Effect Analysis

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

  • Maintain a list of site critical equipment based in business continuity and cGMPs.
  • Improve reliability of the systems, equipment and operations by utilizing analytical, statistical tools and instrumentation.
  • Develop, prioritize and accomplish equipment reliability goals based on manufacturing strategies and/or market needs.
  • Conduct and/or review and approve failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) to ensure proper maintenance tasks and intervals are established for all equipment.
  • Develop and approve equipment specifications, acceptance tests, and maintenance procedures for new and/or rebuilt equipment to ensure maximum value and reliability.
  • Communicate with customers to develop and meet reliability requirements and RCM program goals to ensure strategic manufacturing goals are being met.
  • Prepare reports to describe the status, benefits and opportunities within the RCM program to ensure strategic maintenance goals are being met.
  • Perform root cause failure analysis (RCFA) for chronic or critical equipment failures and identify corrective actions necessary to increase future reliability.
  • Review maintenance equipment history in order to provide proactive solutions to potential problems affecting reliability and or cost.
