Utility Engineer
For Project Engineering services in the Utilities and Facilities area.

The Technical Part:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and a minimum of five (5) years of exposure in project engineering.
- Bilingual, Spanish and English (good communications)
- Shift: Administrative and according to business needs.
- Experience in:
- Utilities and Facilities
- All project phases, from initiation to completion, providing leadership and coordination
- Change Control development and support
- URS development
- Project status reports

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)
- Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Track project progress and identify potential risks and issues.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Develop and implement change control procedures to manage changes to project scope, schedule, or budget.
- Review and approve change requests, ensuring they are justified and aligned with project objectives.
- Track and manage change orders, ensuring timely execution and documentation.
- Assist in developing comprehensive business cases to justify project investments.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to define project requirements and develop User Requirement Specifications (URS).
- Ensure that business cases and URS documents are clear, concise, and aligned with organizational goals.
- Assess existing utility and facility infrastructure to identify potential constraints or improvement opportunities.
- Develop strategies for optimizing utility and facility utilization to support project requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure seamless integration of new projects with existing infrastructure.
- Prepare weekly project reports detailing project progress, key milestones, and potential challenges.
- Coordinate system completion and turnover, requisition project materials, equipment, and services.
