The Technical Part:

  • Associate Degree with two (2) years of experience in industrial mechanics within the regulated industry.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish).
  • Project Management skills.
  • Shift: Administrative shift, according to business needs.
  • Experience in:
    • Troubleshooting knowledge of electronic and mechanical components, equipment, or systems.
    • Preventive Maintenance 
    • Interpretation of electrical and mechanical schematics

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

  • Performs corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance for Parenteral Manufacturing equipment.
  • Supports the Parenteral Technicians in problem-solving and troubleshooting of Parenteral Manufacturing equipment. 
  • Performs Equipment Condition-Based Monitoring, monitors critical process parameters, and utilizes predictive technologies to proactively take the necessary action to prevent process deviation and/or product losses. Interacts with computer-controlled equipment and processes. 
  • Follows the job plans, documents and completes corrective, preventive, predictive documentation legible, error-free, and on time, following good documentation practices through the computerized system (MAXIMO). and revises and improves predictive and preventive job plans for the Parenteral Manufacturing equipment based on observations, experience and technical data. 
  • Assures the spare parts inventory for Parenteral Manufacturing equipment.
  • Attends to all mandatory training meetings for cGMP’s, EHS and Company Policies. 
  • Participates, and assists in the resolution of quality investigations. Reconcile data and prepare computerized documents to provide support to quality investigations or similar documents as required.
  • Assists in “on-the-job training” for new employees.
  • Maintains housekeeping within controlled and aseptic environments, according to procedures.
  • Handles Hazardous and non-hazardous waste according to EHS procedures.
  • Participates in special projects and during audits and regulatory inspections as required.
  • Participates in and assists in Parenteral Operations FMEAs, Root Cause Analysis, validation, and qualification activities.
  • Assists maintenance activities in other areas within operations as required.
