Drafter

For Drafting services in the Engineering area. 

WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT: 

The Technical Part:

• Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree in related field and previous exposure in Drafting activities within the Pharmaceutical or Medical Devices industry. 
• Excellent reading, writing, and speaking skills in Spanish and English.
• Shift: Administrative and according to business needs
• Experience in:
  • AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup. 
  • Redlines and evacuation routes 
  • Fire protection plans using digital tools 
  • Interior Design, Spatial Layout, Furtniture, Finishes. 
  • 3D Models, Three-dimensional visualizations and Renders.

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

• Make a digital matrix to record all the plans with their description, by building, by project, by product, by date, etc. to facilitate and expedite the search for technical information through plans.
• Digitize plans that are in hardcopy to facilitate and expedite the search for technical information through plans.
• Convert all plans into MicroStation to AutoCAD (buildings in service).
• Maintain the engineering database and related files for facility & process documents.
• Change request drawings revisions (upon request by project).
• Field data gathering for as-built red-marked drawings (architectural, layout, piping layout, P&ID, Electric, HVAC, etc.) (upon request by project)
• Document control of drawings of the different disciplines for all buildings that are not scheduled to be demolished will be done using IDEA.
• Update drawings plant wide to include regulatory submissions and any others as requested.
• Accurately create/update drawings for projects as required by Change Control, Engineering Project Request, or Work Request.
• Prepare requests for reproduction of facility/process drawings and documents as needed.
