 For Engineering services in the Manufacturing area.

WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT: 
The Technical Part:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering & two (2) years of relevant experience within the Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical industry.
  • Bilingual (Spanish & English).
  • Shift: Non-standard and according to business needs.
    • 2/3/2 days shift Example:
      • Week 1: (Mon-Tues (12hrs shift)) / Fri-Sat-Sun (12 hrs shift).
      • Week 2: Wed-Thurs (12 hrs shift).
  • Experience in:
    • Equipment and/or process troubleshooting in a regulated environment.
    • Execution of manufacturing/quality systems such as deviations, equipment qualification, training, and new product introductions.
    • Apply process, operational, scientific expertise, basic compliance knowledge, and analytical and troubleshooting.
    • Organizes, analyzes and presents interpretation of results for operational issues or engineering projects.
    • Apply basic engineering principles to the design and implementation of system modifications, experiments and/or capital projects.

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)
  • Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Under general supervision will evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, basic principles and procedures. 
  • Function as a technical expert to process, equipment and/or systems during troubleshooting operations and multi-functional discussions.
  • Frequently become actively involved in daily operations when required to meet schedules or to resolve sophisticated problems.
  • Routinely supervise manufacturing processes for performance indicators and operations. Suggest problem resolution and provide troubleshooting.
  • Work with manufacturing, maintenance, process development, utilities, facilities, quality assurance and/or validation departments.
    recommendations for process and/or system modifications.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and utilize data-driven methodologies to optimize processes, improve efficiency.
  • Support equipment / system reliability, GLAM, Spare parts program and engineering continuous improvements initiatives.
  • Support cost-saving initiatives, assessing ROI for process and equipment improvements.
  • Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Under general supervision, will evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, basic principles, and procedures. 
  • Function as a technical expert in processing equipment and/or systems during troubleshooting operations and multi-functional discussions.
  • Routinely audit the operational performance and regulatory compliance of a moderate number of equipment items or systems of significant complexity.
  • Work with research, manufacturing, maintenance, process development, utilities, facilities, quality assurance, and/or validation departments. 
  • Work under the direct supervision of project managers to complete design, engineering, and construction projects within schedule and budget constraints.
  • Work with consultants, architects, and engineering firms on the development of standard design documents.
  • Generate rudimentary project cost estimates and schedules.
  • Obtain and critique quotes for equipment modifications or installations.
