Senior Buyer - Capital Projects

For Buyer and Procurement support services in the Capital Projects area.

The Technical Part:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and more than five (5) years of exposure in Capital Projects, procurement and buyer within GMP/GDP and pharmaceutical regulations.
• Shift: Administrative and according to business needs. 
• Good negotiations and interpersonal kills. 
• Bilingual, Spanish and English (good communications with all levels)
• Experience in:
  • Purchasing through system. 
  • Capital projects. 
  • Inventory Management, Sourcing and Procuring

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

• Place, expedite and/or negotiate orders with suppliers.
• Receive, evaluate and processes the purchase requisitions for materials and services in compliance with established company policies and procedures.
• Generate purchase orders, blanket orders, vendor managed inventory or other supply agreements.
• Handle projects with moderate level of complexity, including special projects to identify cost opportunities and savings.
• Participative role in the design/implementation and monitoring of the supplier partnership programs.
• Maintain purchasing documentation to cGMP standards.
• Ensure audit compliance readiness of purchase orders and related records.
• Resolve receiving and invoice discrepancies.
• Monitor and coordinate returns of goods as required.
• Expediting, monitoring and update of Purchase Orders.
• Development and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators.
