For Environmental Health and Safety services in the regulated industry. 

WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT: 

The Technical Part:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science and five (5+) years of exposure to EHS activities within the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry.
  • OSHA 30 hours certification, General or Construction Industry. 
  • Shift: Administrative and according to business needs.
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English).
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Experience in:
    • Ensure project activities comply with EHSS policies, local regulations, and client requirements.
    • Develop site-specific EHSS plans, conduct toolbox talks, hazard assessments, and incident investigations.
    • Inspect areas and identify and correct project opportunities in coordination with the project leader.
    • Manage permits to work during the projects.
    • Track EHSS metrics and ensure environmental permitting and waste management compliance where applicable.

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

  • Ensure a safe work environment for workers and site employees.
  • Ensure OSHA compliance.
  • Take immediate corrective actions to address unsafe acts, work, and/ or conditions.
  • Ensure all proper work and other permits are being utilized.
  • Work with construction management teams to prequalify subcontractors.
  • Maintain records of safety inductions/ orientations.
  • Daily/Weekly site walks.
  • Attend/ lead toolbox talks.
  • Participate actively in Departmental EHS and Construction reviews.
