The Technical Part:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and at least five (5+) years of experience in Project Management within the regulated industry. 
  • Bilingual: Spanish and English
  • Soft Skills: Organizational skills 
  • Shift: Administrative and according to business
  • Experience:
    • End to end design, construction, inspection, oversight, and handoff of large-scale projects.
    • Project management including, capital, facilities planning and construction management processes and procedures. 
    • Project bidding, budgeting, resource, and scheduling practices.
    • Staff supervision and oversight experience highly desirable.

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

  • Leads and ensures projects are clearly defined, as well as roles and responsibilities between contractors, vendors, authorities, and stakeholders.
  • Accountable for project scope and deliverables timely completion aligned with business strategies.  
  • Provides technical support and manages all aspects of capital construction projects. Closely monitors all activities related to company’s capital expenditure.
  • Leads and supervises project managers, project engineers, construction managers, among other direct or contracted resources.
  • Acts as a liaison between the project and the critical stakeholders.  Maintains all parties informed (consultants, contractors, CVI leaders.
  • Communicates project status on an ongoing basis in several forums. 
  • Identifies challenges, decision points, recommendations, adjusted timelines, potential risks, and ensures overall alignment.  
  • Owns critical pathways for capital projects, local, regional, and divisional as applicable.  Acts as liaison for sustainability and standardization matters.  
  • Creates presentations, uses speaking engagements, and other methods to enhance the community's awareness of and appreciation for capital projects.
  • Drives project master plans and portfolios.  Active involvement and alignment for LRSP requirements and business needs.
  • Responsible of compliant management from conceptualization to vendor, contract, resource, spending, tracking.
