• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and one (1) year of experience within the Medical Devices Industry.
• Bilingual: Spanish and English
• Soft Skills: Good problem-solving skills
• Shift: 1st, 2nd, 3rd and according to business needs. 
• Experience in: 
  • Time studies and applying line balancing techniques to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and minimize waste
  • SMED methodology demonstrates the capability to identify opportunities for reducing changeover times.

  • AutoCAD layouts to support space utilization, product segregation, and the analysis and optimization of material flow.

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

• Analyzes and designs sequences of operations and workflow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts;
• Establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
• May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production.
• Conducts studies about cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.
• Based on these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods.
• May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.
