The Technical Part:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and three (3) years of experience in manufacturing engineering or machining environments within the Medical Devices Industry.
- Bilingual: Spanish and English
- Soft Skills: Excellent teamwork skills
- Shift: Administrative, and according to business needs.
- Experience in:
- CNC programming
- CMM programming
- Lean or cost‑saving initiatives
- Validations
- Interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, and process specifications

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)
- Optimize machining parameters to improve cycle time, tool life, and part quality.
- Troubleshoot machining issues including tool wear, dimensional deviations, and machine capability.
- Support fixture design, tool selection, and machining process documentation.
- Perform first article inspections, capability studies, and dimensional analysis.
- Develop validation protocols for equipment, processes, and tooling.
- Execute Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) activities.
- Document results, deviations, and corrective actions in compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
- Support risk assessments, FMEA updates, and process control plans.
- Lead or support cost‑saving initiatives aligned with annual targets.
- Identify opportunities in cycle time reduction, scrap reduction, tooling optimization, and process automation.
- Develop business cases, savings calculations, and implementation plans.
- Track progress and report result to leadership.
