Project Controls Lead

For Project Controls services in the Capital Projects area.

The Technical Part:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and at least five (5) years of experience in Project Control activities within the Pharmaceutical & Medical Devices Industry.
• Bilingual: Spanish and English
• Soft Skills: Excellent Communication skills, and Positive attitude. 
• Shift: Administrative and according to business needs. 
• Experience in:
  • Capital Project Support

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job) 

• Ensure project controls work is managed in accordance with procedures and work instructions
• Assess resource requirements to support all project control needs
• Coordinate development and maintenance of project estimates with Project Estimator or consultants
• Coordinate development and maintenance of budget
• Coordinate development of baseline project schedule, and subsequent updates
• Coordinate and produce the project cost and progress reports for the Project Manager
• Support procurement in the development of the project controls requirements of construction RFP documents
• Supervise project controls support personnel assigned to project
• Identify and analyze potential project issues through risk management techniques
• Recommend corrective action and provide follow up on those recommendations
• Promote communication and teamwork within group and project
• Provide assistance in defending Lilly from vendor claims.
