The Technical Part:
 
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering and at least five (5) years of experience in Project Management within the Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Shift: Administrative and according to business needs. 
  • Bilingual: English and Spanish (verbal/written). 
  • Experience in:
    • Project Management life cycle:  Project Planning & Scheduling, Budget & Cost Management, Team Leadership & Coordination, Quality Control & Safety Compliance, Stakeholder Management, Risk Management and Project Close-Out.
    • Managing construction projects from beginning to end.
    • Projects primarily focus on utilities and infrastructure projects.
    • Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, regulations, and industry best practices.

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that outline project scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation. 
  • Create and maintain detailed project schedules to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Coordinate the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors necessary for project execution.
  • Prepare cost estimates, monitor project budgets, and ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Continuously update the project cash flow and communicate any potential risks as needed.
  • Review and approve invoices, change orders, and other financial documentation.
  • Implement cost-saving measures and value engineering solutions to enhance project profitability.
  • Lead and manage on-site project teams, including subcontractors, laborers, and site supervisors.
  • Foster a collaborative and efficient working environment, ensuring clear communication among all stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Enforce safety protocols on-site to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular quality inspections and address any quality control issues that arise during the project.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide regular progress updates, manage expectations, and resolve any concerns or issues.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Consistently update the  project tracker to accurately communicate all project details.
  • Identify potential project risks and implement strategies to mitigate or resolve them.
  • Proactively address project delays, disputes, or conflicts to ensure the project stays on track.
  • Ensure all necessary inspections, permits, and documentation are completed at project close-out.
  • Conduct a final review of the project with the client, ensuring satisfaction and completion of all deliverables.
  • Coordinate the handover of the project to the client or facility management team.
