The Technical Part:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field with at least three (3) years of experience in Production Control and/or Purchasing within the Pharmaceutical & Medical Devices Industry.
- Microsoft Office applications (Access, Excel, Word); ERP experience (e.g., JDE, SAP)
- Bilingual: Spanish and English
- Shift: Administrative & according to business needs.
- Experience in:
- Working knowledge of MRP II and inventory management methodologies (e.g., JIT, Kanban, Min/Max).
- Understanding of market and economic indicators, procurement practices, and procedures.

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)
- Update planning parameters within the Item Master and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems.
- Manage work orders and purchase orders through the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect data and identify opportunities for efficient and effective scheduling.
- Support sourcing activities by assessing manufacturing impacts related to nonconforming materials or supplier capacity constraints.
- Participate in meetings with sister sites and third-party customers to review order status.
- Support validation of new or revised raw materials, components, suppliers, and products.
- Execute manufacturing and procurement strategies to optimize costs while maintaining healthy inventory levels (zero backorders).
- Plan material and production requirements, issuing purchase orders and work orders to support production schedules and product launches.
- Analyze pricing and inventory forecasts and provide recommendations during the annual standard costing process.
- Participate as a member of the Material Review Board (MRB), addressing supplier-related quality issues and supporting disposition decisions.
- Lead and implement moderately complex procurement and planning strategies that meet quality, cost, inventory, delivery, and service objectives while ensuring continuity of supply and favorable PPV.
