The Technical Part:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and previous experience within the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device Industry. 
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills (English and Spanish) 
  • Shift: Administrative & according to business needs. 
  • Experience in
    • Basic project management concepts: planning, implementation, monitoring, and follow-up.
    • Construction projects within the pharmaceutical or regulated industry.
    • Regulated documentation practices.

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

  • Support the Project Manager and Project Engineer in ensuring all work is managed in accordance with procedures and work instructions.
  • Help gather and organize information to support the design firm's field support requirements.
  • Assist the Project Manager in developing and updating the Construction Execution Plan.
  • Support coordination with the Construction Firm on field support requirements.
  • Help prepare and organize the job site for pre-construction activities.
  • Assist in reviewing underground drawings and the photo file to help identify potential interferences.
  • Participate in design reviews to support the team's focus on constructability and maintainability.
  • Assist in reviewing construction design documentation under the guidance of the Project Engineer.
  • Support the review of invoices (T&M) for accuracy.
  • Assist in preparing for and attending pre-bid meetings and bid openings.
  • Help draft and track requests for information (RFIs), change bulletins, and field change orders.
  • Support the process for issuing client permits.
  • Maintain and organize the underground and job progress photo file.
  • Serve as a secondary point of contact for contractors, supporting the Project Manager/Engineer as primary contact.
  • Support communications with Site and Plant Security as directed.
  • Assist with coordinating Maintenance Shop work order requests.
  • Support Owner/User communications alongside the Project Manager.
  • Assist in coordinating with the Environmental team as needed.
  • Record and document daily construction activities.
  • Attend construction meetings and take notes/follow-ups as assigned.
  • Help track and expedite Owner-furnished material and equipment.
  • Assist in reviewing specifications before release.
  • Support the maintenance and organization of construction drawings and specifications.
  • Help maintain and track the project punch list.
  • Assist in reviewing installed material and equipment.
  • Participate in project closeout activities.
  • Participate in verification activities under supervision.
