The Technical Part:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and or an equivalent of five (5) years of experience in Industrial and Construction projects within the regulated industry. 
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English). 
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills. 
  • Shift: First (Monday-Friday) & according to business needs. 
  • Experience in:
    • Managing EHS programs.
    • Coordination of EHS activities.
    • Evaluate employees exposure to work environment, safety conditions.
    • Identify, supervise, monitor, evaluate and solve EHS and regulatory compliance gaps.

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

  • Responsible of managing EHS programs and responsible of direct organization's EHS program performance.
  • Will be also responsible of the coordination of EHS activities, social responsibility programs with impact to the Plant and coordination.
  • Will evaluate employees exposure to work environment, safety conditions such as chemical substances, physical, ergonomic, and biological agents.
  • Responsible to identify, supervise, monitor, evaluate and solve EHS and regulatory compliance gaps.
  • Responsible of implementation and or update Technical Standards and Management standard as required with special focus on incident investigations. 
  • Engineering control implementation, Industrial hygiene and Medical surveillance programs.
  • Will continuously improve the EHS awareness of employees by employee orientations and trainings and by inducing a proper, positive action through.
  • Will be responsible of interfacing with and submission of regulated documents to regulatory agencies and their corresponding inspectors or officers as required.
  • Assure that all contractors are implementing our strategy and safe working practices on site.
  • Monitors leading and lagging indicators and escalates.
    Support incident investigations.
  • Assist and monitor the development and completion of corrective actions.
    Identify and implements safety initiatives.
