The Technical Part:

  • 30hrs. OSHA Certification (General Industry or Construction)
  • Three to Five (3-5) years of exposure in Industrial and Construction projects within the regulated industry. 
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English). 
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills. 
  • Shift: First (Monday-Friday) & according to business needs. 
  • Experience in:
    • Daily Permit. 
    • Construction field support. 
    • Capital Projects.

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

  • Conducts site orientations and delivers project onboarding safety training to all incoming contractors, subcontractors, and project personnel prior to mobilization on any assigned project.
  • Generates, releases, and monitors Daily Work Permits, ensuring all on-site activities are properly authorized and executed under safe, controlled conditions across all active project sites.
  • Reviews and approves all Subcontractors' Safety Plans, verifying full alignment with Coca-Cola's EHS standards and applicable federal, local, and OSHA regulatory requirements before any work begins.
  • Conducts Job Hazard Analyses (JHA/JSA) for construction and installation activities, proactively identifying risks and implementing appropriate controls before and during critical project phases.
  • Monitors the safety of all workers across all project sites, continuously assessing site conditions and actively preventing personnel from entering or being exposed to hazardous situations.
  • Promotes safe practices and enforces safety guidelines at all times, engaging workers in a zero-incident culture and taking immediate corrective action when unsafe behaviors or conditions are identified.
  • Responds promptly to all safety concerns, assisting in the investigation of EHS incidents and accidents, and leading the implementation of corrective and preventive actions through full resolution.
  • Verifies the accurate completion and timely submission of injury logs and incident reports to relevant government agencies in accordance with OSHA and local regulatory requirements.
  • Prepares and submits comprehensive safety reports, tracking compliance metrics, inspection findings, incident trends, and corrective action status for management and all relevant stakeholders.
