WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT: 

The Technical Part:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science and four (4+) years of exposure to EHS activities within the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry.
• OSHA 30 hours certification, General or Construction Industry. 
• Shift: Administrative and according to business needs.
• Bilingual (Spanish and English).
• Good analytical skills.
• Experience in:
  • Leadership and Technical advice as an EHS Subject Matter Expert.
  • Developing and delivering training and training tools.
  • Risk Assessment.
  • MS Office (Excel and Word).

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

• Inspects the site to ensure it is a hazard-free environment.
• Conducts toolbox meetings.
• Is part of the project safety council and leads all efforts to enhance safety.
• Reviews and approves all subcontractor’s safety plans.
• Verifies that injury logs and reports are completed and submitted to related government agencies. 
• Promotes safe practices at the job site.
• Enforces safety guidelines.
• Conducts job hazard analysis.
• Establishes safety standards and policies as needed.
• Watches out for the safety of all workers and works to protect them from entering hazardous situations.
• Responds to any safety concerns.
• Serves as the link between state and local agencies and contractors.
• Arranges for OSHA mandated testing and/or workplace evaluations by external agencies/consultants.
• Supports EHS project related documentation.
