The Technical Part:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and three (3) years of experience within the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device Industry. 
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills (English and Spanish) 
  • Shift: Administrative & according to business needs. 
  • Experience in
    • Manage all aspects of project(s): planning, implementation, monitoring, completion, and follow-up
    • Construction project within the pharmaceutical industry
    • Project Management

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

  • Ensure all work is managed in accordance with procedures and work instructions.
  • Help clarify and set requirements for the design firm’s field support.
  • Work with the Project Manager to develop a Construction Execution Plan.
  • Work with Construction Firm to define field support requirements.
  • Set up a job site for pre-construction activities.
  • Explore the underground drawings and photo file for interferences.
  • Participate in design reviews with a focus on constructability and maintainability.
  • Review and influence overall construction design.
  • Review invoices (T&M) for accuracy.
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings and bid openings.
  • Request for information change bulletins and field change orders.
  • Issue clients permit.
  • Maintain the underground and job progress photo file.
  • Primary client contact for all contractors.
  • Primary client contact for Site and Plant Security.
  • Primary client contact for Maintenance Shops and work order requests.
  • Primary client contact for Owner/User.
  • Primary client contact for Environmental.
  • Record daily construction activities.
  • Attend construction meetings.
  • Expedite Owner-furnished material and equipment.
  • Review specifications before release.
  • Oversee maintenance of construction drawings and specifications.
  • Manage project punch list.
  • Review installed material and equipment.
  • Participate in project closeout.
  • Participate in verification activities.
