The Technical Part:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and two (2) years of exposure in Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish). 
  • Project Management skills. 
  • Shift:  Second (12:00 PM to 9:00 PM) and according to business needs. 
  • Experience in:
    • Change Management
    • Execution of EQPs, Redaction of Quality Protocols and Investigations 
    • Manufacturing environment
    • Root Cause Analysis and Troubleshooting
    • FDA, GMP, and ISO guidelines and Statistical Techniques

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

  • Daily support to manufacturing activities to meet established goals and KPI metrics.
  • Accountable for the equipment maintenance, setups & troubleshoot.
  • Accountable to update and maintain manufacturing process to current practices and accountable for continuous improvement projects and financial analysis.
  • Responsible of equipment and process qualifications and approval.  Support or lead product introduction activities from planning to implementation phase.  
  • Responsible to provide necessary information to maintain appropriate spare parts inventory.
  • Reviews and monitors results of non-conforming product to identify causes, implements controls to eliminate causes, and assesses the success of the controls.
  • Ensure compliance with all Abbott procedures and all applicable regulatory agency requirements.
  • Inspection and evaluation of finished products to ensure they meet established quality specifications and standards.
  • Supervision and control of production processes to ensure they are carried out according to quality standards.
  • Conduct process equipment installation/operational/performance qualification studies to test their functionality.
  • Support the evaluation of Change Controls and Validation life cycle.
