Project Control Specialist

The Technical Part:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field and at least five (5) years of experience in Project Control activities within the pharmaceutical and medical devices industry.
- Bilingual (Spanish and English)
- Shift: Administrative & according to business needs
- Experience in:
- Strong proficiency in Excel and the ability to manage data, formulas, and project cost tracking spreadsheets.
- Experience working with accounting or cost‑control software platforms.
- Ability to analyze project documents, blueprints, and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to support Project Managers in cost‑related tasks.
- Ability to prepare clear, accurate, and timely financial and cost reports.

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)
- Consult with clients, vendors, internal departments, and construction foremen to discuss project requirements, gather information, and resolve cost‑related issues.
- Prepare cost estimates used by management for project planning, organizing, and scheduling activities.
- Analyze blueprints, technical documents, and project specifications to develop detailed estimates for time, cost, materials, and labor.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to review and adjust cost estimates as project conditions evolve.
- Support project cost control activities, ensuring accurate tracking of expenditures against budgets.
- Assist Project Managers with financial data, reports, change tracking, and cost‑related decision‑making.
- Prepare and maintain cost reports, forecasts, and summaries for internal review.
- Utilize Excel and accounting platforms to track costs, validate data, and support financial reporting processes.
- Monitor project documentation to ensure updates in scope, materials, and labor are accurately reflected in cost estimates.
- Participate in cost review meetings, providing clear and organized reporting to support project performance evaluations.
